3D Spacetime Art incorporates both three-dimensional space and time, into one work of 4 dimensional art.  3D Lenticular imaging allows the artist to incorporate the illusion of both 3 dimensional space and time into one flat work of art.  The capturing of 3D lenticular images is done over time while moving the camera through space, capturing the 3 dimensionality of the subject during a brief period of time. This method of capture gives limited motion with the 3D image, giving life to the image that is not usually found in the more usual instantaneous photography methods.

With the 3D shadowgraph process, I move the light source over time, and record perspective changes of the shadows instead of the the actual subject. This give me a far more abstract and surreal image than strait 3D lenticular photography. It allows for more creative freedom of expression. I am forced to compose each image with objects of my choosing, rather than to go out and choose to document what's already there in front of me. Giving me an alternative approach to my work that that is both challenging and surprising at the same time.

3D lenticular photography is still a relatively un-explored medium that is being brought back to the mainstream with the help of digital photography and digital print methods, without which I would not be able to produce the work that I do.
